Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA

Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM

Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience


As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Watch in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and support the protection of restricted areas, equipment, and/or government property in accordance with post orders.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel during alarms, medical incidents, hazardous conditions, and other security-related events while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
