What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, gates, trailer areas, and other restricted locations.
• Screen visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols, maintain accurate access records, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding entry approvals and/or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help to identify security-related issues, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
