As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support controlled entry procedures for employees, contractors, deliveries, and guests.
  • Assist with incident response, medical calls, and/or evacuation support, and maintain readiness to follow post orders and authorized use-of-force guidelines when assigned to an armed role.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
