Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing customer concerns and reporting unusual activity to site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the shopping center, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unauthorized activity, loitering, and/or after-hours access concerns while maintaining visible presence throughout the location.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate professionally with management, tenants, and/or local first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
