As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Retail in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and activity across the property, assist with directional support and general inquiries, and communicate with property management and/or local responders when needed.
• Support daily operations by observing for policy violations, addressing routine concerns with professionalism, and completing required reports and logs in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
