As a Security Officer Access Driver in Gastonia, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic automotive location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post, where you will help manage site entry, monitor activity, and support daily security-related operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and/or deliveries, and maintain accurate access logs to help support authorized access throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to access control concerns and other security-related conditions.
• Report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and document observations in a clear and timely manner to help support day-to-day operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
