Job Description


As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. This role combines routine observation, visible presence, and outstanding customer service to help promote a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while dispatching personnel and communicating updates to property management and/or emergency contacts as needed.
  • Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and other communication systems to help support timely awareness of building activity, after-hours concerns, and/or unusual conditions.
  • Maintain detailed dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports, documenting calls for service, officer status, key events, and follow-up information in accordance with site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination for the building and perimeter, helping to support coverage, access control activity, and response to tenant and visitor concerns across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
