As a Security Officer Patrol Assignment in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a tech/media/telecom location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy violations, and relay relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
