As a Security Officer Security Console in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a front desk post where you will greet visitors, manage access activity, monitor security-related systems, and support a professional, welcoming location experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, clear communication, and teamwork while helping to maintain organized front desk operations with integrity in a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access at the front desk, greet visitors, and/or support visitor check-in and badge processes in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
