Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Flagstaff, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting site operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help verify that entry and exit activity follows site protocols for visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors within an active industrial environment.
  • Support day-to-day operations by observing for hazards, equipment issues, and/or policy violations, then reporting concerns through appropriate site and Allied Universal channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
