Job Description


As a Security Officer Armed Communications Dispatch in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will monitor communications, coordinate officer activity, document incidents, and help support timely responses to security-related concerns. You will also provide outstanding customer service while working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive and relay routine and urgent calls, and coordinate the assignment of personnel to support security-related incidents, access concerns, and/or operational needs.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and status updates in dispatch logs and reporting systems, helping to support accurate records and timely communication with site leadership and/or emergency contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to direct resources and share pertinent information with on-site personnel and/or responding agencies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter while maintaining awareness of dispatch activity, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns in accordance with location policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess pepper spray certification preferred.
  • Possess handcuffing certification preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
