As a Security Officer Access Control in Champaign, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support daily site operations with professionalism and care. In this access control role, you may conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, while reporting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support security-related operations by helping to control site access, directing foot traffic and/or vehicle traffic, and completing required logs, reports, and other post documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
