As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol - Multiple Shifts in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine and mobile patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by observing visitors, vendors, and/or staff movement in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Required hospital vaccines are required.
  • Must be able to work in and/or around a hospital morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
