As a Security Officer Security Screener in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor assigned areas, and remain visible to help discourage incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen people, packages, deliveries, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location, and report suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Monitor entry points, shipping and receiving areas, and other assigned posts to help support security-related procedures within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to screening checkpoints, dock areas, parking areas, and other high-traffic locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
