What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, as working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity, support access control procedures, and/or observe for unusual behavior.
• Support cash-handling and other sensitive operations through visible armed presence, escort-related duties when assigned, and timely communication with site contacts and local responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
