Job Description


As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions as required, and assist with screening processes, restricted area access, and other security-related duties tied to government operations.
  • Support law enforcement and/or site contacts during emergencies, alarms, medical incidents, and other unusual events while following post orders and communicating updates through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
