As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Harrisburg, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements, maintaining professional readiness and using sound judgment during security-related responses.
• Monitor access points and campus activity, assisting with visitor screening, after-hours checks, and/or investigations related to policy violations or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
