Job Description


As a Security Officer Security Dispatcher in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and support site operations through clear communication and strong situational awareness. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or video systems to receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and communicate updates to on-site personnel and management in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, service requests, and daily activity in dispatch logs and reports, sharing timely information with appropriate contacts and maintaining accurate records of security-related concerns.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, critical situations, and after-hours inquiries by directing personnel to the appropriate location and relaying relevant details to help support a timely response.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by observing system alerts, reporting unusual conditions, and following established procedures for access-related issues, visitor concerns, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
