What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a high-traffic technology location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, screening visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, and documenting authorized entry and exit activity.
• Monitor access control systems, cameras, alarms, and/or intercoms, and respond to unusual activity or incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, restricted areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
• Support site operations by communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and following post orders for escalations and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
