As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Overnight Shift in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe foot traffic to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor screening practices, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal supervisors and/or location personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment, as required.
• Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
