This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, offering directions and assistance while reporting concerns related to restricted areas and/or after-hours access.
  • Support a professional environment by observing day-to-day activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders related to patient care areas, public spaces, and/or emergency departments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital vaccinations are required.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
