As a Security Officer Access Screening in Saint George, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail location where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support daily operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service. In this access control role, you will help to reduce security-related incidents while assisting visitors and staff with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, sales floor areas, receiving areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations by maintaining awareness of high-traffic areas and reporting security-related concerns promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
