Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government school location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, assist students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service, and bring a caring, agile, and reliable approach while working with integrity and teamwork each day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and responding to questions or concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns at a government education location.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help support authorized entry, report suspicious behavior, and/or document security-related incidents according to post orders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and/or incidents, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
