Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a residential community, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will complete routine patrols, respond to site needs, and contribute to a caring, reliable team culture built on agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, residential community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures, resident inquiries, and/or delivery coordination in accordance with property guidelines.
  • Support a professional living environment by communicating clearly with residents and property personnel, addressing routine concerns, and escalating maintenance, life, and/or security-related issues as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
