As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Protector in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local management and/or public law enforcement when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with post orders, visitor protocols, and other site-specific requirements.
  • Maintain a visible armed presence while following all applicable post instructions, reporting procedures, and Allied Universal standards for professionalism, appearance, and use of equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
