As a Security Officer Site Screening in Richmond Hill, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, conduct screening activities, and support access control procedures. This role combines customer service, communication, and security-related awareness to help protect people, property, and operations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into shipping, receiving, and distribution areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of activity in dock, warehouse, trailer, and parking areas where conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
