As a Security Officer Screening Officer in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, screen visitors and/or packages, and support security-related operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service. This role is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and values teamwork. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen people, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and/or other designated locations to help support authorized entry and the flow of operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, damaged property, and/or security-related issues that may need documentation or follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
