As a Security Officer Entry Control Agent in Lumberton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening activities, and other security-related protocols appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, checking visitor authorizations, issuing temporary badges when required, and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support to site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, lobbies, restricted areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, policy concerns, and other security-related issues.
  • Document daily activity, access-related events, and incident details in required reports, logs, and/or electronic systems while following site-specific policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
