As a Security Officer Bike Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $23.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related needs throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, storefront exteriors, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Assist with monitoring access points, observing visitor activity, and documenting daily events, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
• Support a professional presence throughout the retail location by giving directions, answering questions, and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• The ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
