As a Security Officer Retail Patrol in Canoga Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, help to deter unauthorized activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards observed during patrols.
• Support daily operations by assisting with crowd management, directions, lost and found inquiries, and other customer-facing responsibilities in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
