What You'll Do:

  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A CPO certification is required.
  • Proof of required hospital vaccines is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.

  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • In-State Candidates Only: Out-of-state candidates are not a viable fit at this time, as the requirement to backfill their positions while they attend school and pass the full BLET State exam is too much of a hassle.

    * BLET Certification: Please note that backgrounds in Probation, Parole, or Corrections do not qualify as BLET law enforcement. These candidates would still be required to attend BLET classes and would be unable to be on a post, so we cannot move forward with them.

    * Active Experience: We are looking for candidates with active law enforcement experience within the last 3 years. The exception would be in-state candidates who have served at least 1 year in a full-time capacity as a sworn police officer and left their previous department in good standing.
