As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Lumberton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence and coordination with site leadership and/or law enforcement.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and support investigations, emergency procedures, and other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
