Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and/or screening areas to help support authorized access for people, vehicles, and deliveries within a busy logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions according to post orders.
• Complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation related to access control activity, visitor management, and other security-related procedures at the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
