As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Batesville, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at an education location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support students, staff, and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and activity across the location, assisting with entry procedures, visitor interactions, and policy compliance in accordance with site expectations.
  • Support a secure learning environment by communicating clearly with campus stakeholders, providing directions and assistance, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and other property-related concerns that may affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
