As an Allied Universal officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site activity with strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verifying credentials and/or shipment-related information in accordance with site policies.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by reporting damaged gates, lighting issues, unsecured doors, and/or other conditions that could impact the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to use a computer and/or tablet comfortably is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
