As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Association in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access activity by observing vehicles and pedestrians entering and leaving the location, verifying authorized access when required, and addressing policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Support security-related operations by preparing reports, maintaining awareness of property conditions, and communicating clearly with residents, supervisors, and/or emergency responders during routine and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
