As a Security Officer Patrol Coordination in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this unarmed role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork, while bringing integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify potential security-related concerns and report observations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and adherence to location rules and reporting procedures.
• Assist with incident reporting, alarm response, and/or requested support during operational changes, special events, or after-hours activity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
