As a Security Officer Driver Checkpoint Screener in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry activity, screen visitors and/or vehicles, and support smooth daily operations. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, drivers, packages, and/or vehicles as directed by post orders and site requirements, and report irregular activity or policy concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around loading areas, entry points, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, loss concerns, and/or operational disruptions by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and maintaining awareness of site activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
