Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government corrections location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and integrity in a role that values agility, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones, with attention to unusual activity, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
• Monitor movement of staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel in controlled areas, verify credentials when required, and help to deter prohibited items or actions at the location.
• Support facility operations by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, assisting with security-related escorts, and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
