Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a high-traffic technology location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas such as offices, operational spaces, and other sensitive locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support visitor management processes by checking in guests, confirming authorization, issuing badges, and directing individuals according to site protocols and access levels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, while observing for unusual activity, equipment concerns, and other security-related issues that should be reported.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
