Job Description


As a Security Officer Access Screening Specialist in Keasbey, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will help manage access control, verify badges, monitor entry points, and support screening activities. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, with attention to access points and high-traffic zones.
  • Support screening, check-in, and delivery-related access activities while maintaining detailed logs and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
