As a Security Officer Patrol and Badge Check in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will perform unarmed patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity every day.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations and activities according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access when required, and communicate with residents, visitors, and/or property staff regarding security-related concerns.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, following post instructions, and assisting with security-related needs as they arise during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
