As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Duty in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a prominent financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-value locations, verifying access permissions and following post orders for armed presence and response protocols.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas by maintaining a visible presence, observing surroundings, and communicating with local site contacts and/or law enforcement when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
