As a Security Officer Armed Rover Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and applicable guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or points of sale for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, de-escalation, and/or coordination with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed, while maintaining detailed and accurate activity reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
