Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and communicate with staff, visitors, and/or first responders when needed.
• Support a professional presence by documenting daily activities, following post orders, and addressing questions or concerns with courtesy and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
