As a Security Officer Armed Response Driver in Edinburgh, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional presence through strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and key points of access while following post orders and reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
• Support authorized personnel and visitors with directions, information, and incident-related assistance while maintaining professionalism and attention to post protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
