As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while staying visible and providing outstanding customer service. This unarmed driving post includes routine patrols, site checks, and clear communication with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and vehicle entry procedures in support of site rules and daily operations.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, unsecured doors, equipment concerns, and other unusual conditions that may impact the location's operations or security-related posture.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
