What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to Allied Universal and location protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or vendor information as directed by site procedures, and communicate relevant updates to property staff and/or supervisors.
  • Document security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns, and support follow-up actions in accordance with post orders and residential community expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Possess a guard card.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
