Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer - Residential Space, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role combines a professional presence with strong customer service and communication, supporting residents and guests while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout residential buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and property conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and support compliance with community rules, post orders, and access control procedures.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, communicating clearly with residents and/or local authorities when needed, and following all post instructions for assigned locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
