What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, access points, parking areas, loading and shipping zones, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious behavior, damaged property, and/or operational issues according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and access control efforts by observing facility activity, maintaining detailed reports, and assisting with emergency notifications, evacuations, and/or other site response procedures when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be 21 or more years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
